First, you are going to want to cut off the barcode form the bottom of the scrapbook paper. Then, decide whether you are going to use the top or bottom of the box and wrap it. Glue it down.
Fold the sides in and glue them down.

Fold the bottom part up and glue down.
Trim it a little if needed.
Either fold the tab in and glue (left)
or cut the corners and glue it down (right).

(I think it is easier to glue it down when you cut the corners.)

Place the pencil off to one side of the
felt so that you have room to roll the pencil.

Fold the felt over the pencil and roll.
Hold it down for 2-3 minutes or until secure.
I had to leave all 5 under a book over night to completely dry and be secure.

So, I went to my local craft store and found the right things for the project and figured it out as I went. So, here are 3 DIY Tumblr inspired shirts.
Here are some easy t-shirts that anyone can make for the summer!

Cut off the seam at the bottom of the shirt.
Measure where you want the knots to start and draw a line (this is where you figure out how long you want the shirt to be, not counting the knots).

Start cutting fringe up to the line you drew. Make sure you only cut the top layer of the shirt then work your way to the back.

Take two strips and knot them together. Continue all the way around your shirt. (Make sure
not to tie the two sides together.)

Lastly take the two strips you used to make the first knot and make one last knot. Continue all the way around. I then trimmed the left over so it was even.

Hand or machine sew the pom poms on. Make sure not to make the seams too tight or the shirt will scrunch at the bottom.
