Valentines Day Pillow

what you need... pillows the size you want (I got 16x16 and 12x17) valentines fabric - I used the leftovers from this 1 yd white fabric yarn ​hot glue

how to make an envelope pillow:

1. See how much fabric you need to fit the pillow and cut it where its a little longer than the size.
(I would do about 5 inches long ways and 2 inches the other way)
- also make sure you have two different pieces, one for the front and one for the back -

2. Using the one piece for the back, mark where the middle is. Add 3 inches to that and cut there.
(Mine got all messed up so don't really pay attention to the numbers.)

3. Cut the other piece so that its 1 inch past the middle.

4. Fold one of the long ends over 1/2 inch once, iron, then fold again, iron.

5. Pin and sew the one side. Do that for each piece you cut.

love pillow:

6. Now, onto that other piece you cut in the beginning. Kind of just play around with the yarn
and see what you come up with and get an idea of what its going to look like.

7. Once you're happy, hot glue it down.

8. Now that you've finished the front, lay that down facing up. On top of that, lay the top piece face down
then the bottom piece face down. Pin all the way around.

9. Now, sew all the way around turn it right side out, push out the corners, iron etc. etc.
Put the pillow form in and you're ready to go!

heart pillow:

1. For this one you need to cut out a bunch hearts. All of mine are different sizes.

2. Hot glue them down in any way or pattern onto the front piece of the pillow.

3. After doing that, make the envelope pillow and you're done!

Valentines Day Banner

Hey everyone! It's been a little while since i've posted something so I decided to start a Valentines Day series! To start it off I've made this simple banner that anyone can make!

what you need... 1/4-1/2 yd Valentines Day fabric 1/4 yd burlap white string hot glue scissors ​marker

1. Cut the burlap into many strips of 4 in.

2. Then cut the strips in half.

3. (optional) Now, cut down the middle to the middle and cut from the bottom two corners to that
​middle point. I did this to 2 of them to use as spacers between the words.
4. Cut the other squares like the last picture shows.

5. On the Valentines Day fabric write out what you want, I recommend writing it all out like normal
and leaving space so that you can just flip the letters that turn out backwards and trace them
(that should be L, P, N, S).
\\ What I mean is cut it out then flip it like the left photo, the letters above should be backwards, trace those letters (as they are backwards) onto the fabric so that when you cut it out its the right way. // 

6. Hot glue the letters onto the burlap.

7. Now, cut a piece of string long enough for the space your going to hang it from and hot glue the
​burlap onto it.
