First, I made the cookies. I used Pillsbury sugar cookie dough, that is already made (it made it so much easier!). I rolled out the dough and cut out as many cookies as I could with my sweater cookie cutter. I ended up using all the dough.
After they were all cooked, I separated the good ones and the ones that looked like pancakes. Now they were ready to be decorated!

'Twas the eighth day of Christmas when we all made our own reindeer roster.

First you need to paint/stain your wood -you could use a piece of plywood or something like what I've got which I bought at Michaels. Then write out each reindeer's name, I used a paint pen but you can use regular paint or just stick on letters. Now, you're done!

Now, just hang it up! I think the best way is probably with command strips, which is what I will probably use.

What you need...
mini canvases
paint
twine/string
paint brushes
Now you paint whatever you want! Here is what I did to give you some ideas.
Once they're dry you can either add a loop with twine/string to make it an ornament or put all of them on a long piece of twine and make a garland. Its up to you!

Blogmas Day 6 - DIY Gift Bag

'Twas the sixth day of Christmas when you learned to make your own gift bag!

1. Cut your wrapping paper of choice to
double the length (height of bag) and width
that you want you're bag to be.
2. Fold the paper in half horizontally.
3. On the edge that is not creased, fold the
edge towards you a little bit to create a
smooth rim.

First you need to figure out how many candy canes you need and I recommend laying them out first.
Once you do that you can cut a circle out of cardboard and put LOTS of glue on it, then arrange the candy canes on the circle like how you'd like it.
Now, cut out a smaller circle and put lots of glue on it also. Put the smaller circle on top of the points of the candy canes. Put a heavy object on top to hold still. Let dry over night.
Now, you can put a bow on top of it or wrap it with ribbon like I did to hide the cardboard.
Lastly, tie it off with twine and hang it up! Enjoy!
